Remote Project Manger Residential Ground Up Construction
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Remote Project Manager specializing in Residential Ground Up Construction to lead and coordinate new home building projects from inception to completion. This role offers the opportunity to oversee all phases of residential construction projects remotely, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, construction expertise, and proficiency with industry-leading software tools. Duties
• Lead and manage residential ground-up construction projects remotely, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters
• Utilizing construction management software Jobtread, Bluebeam and Construct Connect.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project workflows
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure design fidelity and compliance
• Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and tracking using Jobtread or Project and other project management tools
• Conduct regular virtual site inspections with local teams to verify safety standards, quality control, and progress milestones
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contracts negotiation, and change order administration
• Maintain clear communication channels among all stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and keep projects moving forward
Skills
• Proficiency with construction management software including Jobtread, Bluebeam, Project, and other relevant tools
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, and project coordination techniques
• Extensive experience in residential ground-up construction projects with a focus on site management and blueprint reading
• Ability to interpret schematics, contracts, and technical drawings accurately
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote setting
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and quality assurance practices
• Proven track record in project management within the residential construction industry
• Effective communication skills for virtual collaboration among diverse teams
• Familiarity with civil engineering concepts related to residential development
