Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Flexible scheduling within these hours)
Company Overview:We seek a detail-oriented Verification Specialist to join our team on a 1099 contractor basis. Our company provides comprehensive revenue cycle management services across multiple states, and we are looking for a skilled professional familiar with the verification processes in various states. This is a remote position with flexible hours, allowing you to manage your work within our business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct verification of insurance coverage for patients across multiple states.
Accurately input and update verification information in the system.
Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve verification issues.
Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and guidelines during the verification process.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Work closely with billing and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Experience in insurance verification, particularly across multiple states, is required.
Strong understanding of various state-specific insurance regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with revenue cycle management is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
