Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | Maryland

This role involves providing teletherapy speech-language pathology services to school-aged children in a virtual setting, with assignments centered in Laurel, MD. The position requires delivering telespeech and teletherapy support focused on school-based needs within the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms for students across elementary and middle school levels.
• Manage caseloads that may range up to 40 students at the elementary level and up to 57 during peak periods.
• Collaborate with supervisors to tailor caseload assignments according to individual skills and geographic considerations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and credentialing processes.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Current, active Maryland SLP licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of virtual school-based speech therapy experience post-COVID, with at least 2 years completed within the last 5 years.
• Strong familiarity with teletherapy technologies and virtual classroom environments.
• Ability to work 35 hours per week, typically spread over three full-day sessions.
• Must reside in or be able to work within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
• Successful completion of credentialing including a background check is required prior to contract finalization.
