Finance Manager (Remote - Cyprus)
Job Description
Our client is an international professional services business supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across finance, corporate administration, accounting and operational advisory services. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Manager to join their remote team based in Cyprus.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, taking ownership of financial operations while also partnering with external clients on finance-related matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making and improving operational efficiency across multiple entities.
Location: Remote – Cyprus
Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Oversee the day-to-day finance operations of the business, ensuring accurate accounting and financial management.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination and banking activities.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT submissions, statutory filings and audit requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banking institutions and regulatory bodies when required.
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning initiatives across the organisation.
Provide financial support and advisory assistance to external clients on accounting and operational finance matters.
Assist with the onboarding of new clients and implementation of financial procedures and controls.
Monitor and improve internal finance processes, reporting structures and automation initiatives.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on strategic financial and operational projects.
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, audit, advisory, or corporate services environments.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, accounting principles and compliance requirements.
Experience handling multiple entities or supporting external clients is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively within a remote environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
