About the Role The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, as well as the Business Analytics team in providing insights and measuring the effectiveness of our trust and safety efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in detecting and preventing account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and other forms of malicious activity Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies and guidelines that promote a safe and respectful online environment Work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to develop and implement solutions that prevent adversarial abuse and promote trust and safety Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Business Analytics team, ensuring that data-driven insights inform our trust and safety efforts Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners and internal teams, to stay informed about emerging trends and threats Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of adversarial abuse and analytics, and apply this knowledge to inform our strategies and tactics Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) At least 4 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on risk management, fraud prevention, and data analysis Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights that inform our strategies Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., master's or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, statistics) Experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models to identify and prevent adversarial abuse Knowledge of SQL, R, or other programming languages, with experience working with data visualization tools and techniques Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong business judgment and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions that balance competing priorities Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
