**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Interacting with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and resolving specific billing discrepancies
* Providing input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function
* Educating customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications
* Monitoring outstanding balances and taking appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed
* Managing the preparation of invoices and completing reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables
**Required Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma / GED
* Must be 18 years or older
* Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
* Ability to train onsite for the first two days in Schaumburg, IL
* Ability to work Monday-Friday, 07:30AM - 04:00PM CST
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 1+ years Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting, call center setting, or phone support role
**Telecommuting Requirements:**
* Reside within the state of Illinois
* Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
* Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
* Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
**Soft Skills:**
* Ability to multi-task duties as well as the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
