Semior Software Engineer (Python Full Stack)
Location: Remote (U.S. Based Applicant Only)
Employment Type: Full-Time | No Visa Sponsorship Available
Compensation: Base + Up to 15% Annual Bonus
Working Hours: EST Shift ONLY
Primary Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, develop, and enhance large-scale web application features and improvements.
ā¢ Maintain code quality through unit testing and ensure strong test coverage.
ā¢ Identify and implement code structure improvements for better maintainability and testability.
ā¢ Drive and uphold coding best practices within the team.
ā¢ Conduct detailed and constructive code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
ā¢ Mentor and coach junior engineers on coding standards, best practices, and navigating the codebase.
ā¢ Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities with business objectives and resolve blockers.
ā¢ Develop and integrate third-party services and application components.
ā¢ Write and review technical design documents.
ā¢ Manage workflow efficiently in a remote environment and adapt well to changing priorities.
ā¢ Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
ā¢ Participate occasionally in candidate interviews for new technical hires.
Required Technical Skills:
ā¢ Strong foundation in computer science-data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented principles.
ā¢ Expertise in Python for backend web development.
ā¢ Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for frontend development.
ā¢ Experience with MongoDB or SQL databases.
ā¢ Strong familiarity with Git version control.
ā¢ Hands-on experience with Docker (experience with Kubernetes is a plus).
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
ā¢ Strong understanding of web application architecture and API integrations.
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
ā¢ Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
ā¢ Exposure or curiosity in Machine Learning or AI technologies.
ā¢ Experience with legacy system modernization and upgrade projects.
Behavioral & Soft Skills:
ā¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
ā¢ Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

ā¢ Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in web application software development.
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
