Retail Mortgage Loan Processor/ File Setup Associate
About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Mortgage Loan Processor / File Setup Associate to join our growing mortgage team. This role is responsible for setting up new loan files, reviewing documentation for completeness, maintaining accurate loan data in Encompass, and supporting processors and loan officers throughout the loan process.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Set up and review incoming loan files for completeness and accuracy
ā¢ Upload, organize, and manage documents within Encompass/eFolder
ā¢ Order and track third-party services such as title, appraisal, and flood certifications
ā¢ Communicate with loan officers, processors, and borrowers regarding missing items
ā¢ Maintain pipeline updates and ensure files meet compliance and investor requirements
ā¢ Assist processing team with administrative and file maintenance tasks
Requirements
ā¢ Mortgage, banking, or administrative experience preferred
ā¢ Familiarity with Encompass is a plus
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines efficiently
ā¢ Excellent communication and customer service skills
