This role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated tests while serving as the quality gatekeeper in an AI-driven development model.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain automated UI and E2E tests using Playwright/TypeScriptDevelop and maintain automated API tests for ASP.NET Core servicesCreate integration tests validating service-to-service data flowsDesign reliable test data strategies for parallel executionLeverage AI tools to accelerate test creation while critically validating outputsServe as the quality gatekeeper in an AI-driven development modelIntegrate and maintain automated test execution in Azure DevOps pipelinesLog, track, and partner on defect resolution in JiraParticipate in sprint planning, risk assessment, and acceptance criteria definitionCollaborate with onshore and offshore QEs to maintain shared quality standardsSkills2+ years of hands-on test automation experienceStrong Playwright + TypeScript experience for UI / E2E testingExperience writing code-based API tests (TypeScript or C# with xUnit/NUnit)Working knowledge of C# / .NET applications (ability to read and understand code)Experience testing REST APIs (contracts, schemas, business logic, error handling)Experience validating data using SQL Server or Azure SQLHands-on experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesExperience using AI-assisted tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) for test generation and analysisStrong judgment reviewing and validating AI-generated testsAuthorized to work in the U.SExperience in agentic or AI-native engineering environmentsExposure to React and Angular front-end applicationsExperience with integration testing across distributed servicesPrior work partnering with offshore QE teamsBackground in highly regulated or workflow-heavy domains (fintech, legal tech, healthcare)Strong ownership mindset with emphasis on test reliability and quality gatesCompany OverviewInsight Global provides top talent and staffing solutions that help job seekers find careers in healthcare, finance, IT, and government.
