[Remote] Population Health Data Quality Analyst

This role involves evaluating and managing data quality for Medicare and Medicaid populations, resolving data issues, and ensuring data integrity within a relational database environment.ResponsibilitiesAssess data sets for Medicare/Medicaid populations on dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, and duplicationIdentify and analyze the scope of data quality issues within Medicare/Medicaid claims dataResolve data quality issues promptly and effectivelyDevelop and recommend procedures or best practices to prevent the reoccurrence of data quality issuesManage data within a relational database environment specific to Medicare/Medicaid populationsEnsure data integrity and maintain the database through complex data loads, queries, stored procedures, and processesPerform detailed analysis, including pattern analysis, of health care activities and projects related to Medicare/Medicaid populationsUtilize strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid claims data to inform analysis and recommendationsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making for Medicare/Medicaid healthcare quality programsProvide assistance and guidance on data-related issues to team members and stakeholdersPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedSkillsFour-year degree in statistics, mathematics, Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experienceDemonstrated experience using SQLExperience with data analysis or design of analytical reportsExperience with Data Warehouse data mapping and problem solvingBecause of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essentialDemonstrated 3+ years experience using SQL3+ years experience with data analysis or design of analytical reportsExperience in health care HEDIS quality measures, analysis or research preferred, specifically Health Care Claims DataPreferred experience with two or more of the following: SQL Server, Redshift or PostgresBenefitsThis is a remote position; however, candidates must live in Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or Washington, DC to be eligible.As a 100% employee-owned company, our employee-owners drive our business and share in our success.Telligen and our affiliates are Equal Opportunity Employers and E-Verify Participants.Telligen is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, and provides reasonable accommodations to individuals who need assistance during any part of the employment process due to a disability, medical condition, or physical or mental impairment.
