This role involves owning delivery commitments, growing engineers, and setting technical standards for the Catalog engineering team.ResponsibilitiesOwn sprint planning, delivery commitments, and retrospectives for the Catalog teamCarry an active IC load: writing, reviewing, and shipping full-stack production code weekly using AI-assisted toolingPartner with the Principal Engineer, Catalog on architectural direction and the platform roadmapHire and onboard engineers; enforce a high AI-native bar in interviewsDrive collaboration with product managers and design without waiting for top-down coordinationContribute improvements back to the shared AI-driven SDLC golden path and skills librarySkillsAI-driven SDLC (required): hands-on experience shipping production code with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. Must be able to describe how AI changed your workflow and what guardrails you put in placeFull-stack orientation: comfortable contributing across layers of the stack; not specialized in only one layer.
