[Remote] Finance Manager

They are seeking a strategic, analytical, and business-savvy Finance Manager to partner closely with Engineering, Product, and leadership teams to drive financial planning, investment strategy, and operational rigor across the business, focusing on R&D.ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted finance partner to Engineering, Product, and other business teamsCollaborate with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, and relevant accounting considerations (e.g., capitalization policies)Partner with broader teams (GTM, RevOps, Strategic Finance) to ensure alignment across company plansOwn financial planning for key functions, with a primary focus on R&D, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningPartner with Engineering and Product leaders to translate technical roadmaps into financial plansDevelop and track key metrics (e.g., cost efficiency, headcount productivity)Evaluate new product initiatives, infrastructure investments, and key business opportunities through detailed financial models and business casesSupport prioritization of resources across competing initiativesConduct scenario analysis to inform trade-offs between growth, cost, and operational efficiencyLead budgeting cycles and monthly/quarterly forecast updates for supported functionsAnalyze variances and provide actionable insights to improve cost discipline and predictabilityPartner with business leaders to track performance against financial targetsBuild scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to support financial visibility and decision-makingImprove visibility into spend, hiring, and investment performanceDrive automation and tooling enhancements across FP&A systemsSkills5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related rolesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferredStrong financial modeling skills (scenario modeling, investment analysis, headcount planning)Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a high-growth environmentAdvanced Excel proficiency requiredExperience supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or other technical/business functions preferredFamiliarity with software development cost capitalization and related accounting concepts is a plusExperience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Pigment, or similar) and data toolsBenefitsEquitySubsidized benefits *(details available upon request)*Competitive base salary and equityMedical, dental, and vision (subsidized cost)Health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and dependent care FSAs (DCFSA)Retirement plan options, including 401(k) and Roth 401(k)Unlimited paid time off (PTO)14 paid company holidays per yearCompany OverviewArmada develops computing infrastructure that supports AI processing, connectivity, and data management in remote environments.
