**Job Summary**

As a Remote Customer Service Consultant, you'll be responsible for researching, creating, and executing travel itineraries for our clients. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and wants, and then use your expertise to plan a trip that exceeds their expectations. **Key Responsibilities**

* Research, create, and execute travel itineraries for clients, including booking flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and events
* Review individual client needs and wants to ensure a personalized travel experience
* Review budgets and plan client trips accordingly to ensure a stress-free experience
* Effectively communicate with clients pre and post-travel to ensure client satisfaction
* Handle client issues that arise before, during, or after travel
* Complete ongoing training to maintain and earn certifications within the travel industry
* Attend webinars with vendors and suppliers to become specialized in specific destinations and types of travel
* Remain current regarding changes within the travel and tourism industry

**Essential Qualifications**

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Reliable internet access and a computer (recommended) or a smartphone
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Hospitality, customer service, or sales background
* Personal travel experience, especially in the destinations we specialize in
* Familiarity with travel industry software and systems
* Certification in travel industry, such as ARC or IATA
