The RoleOptery is a fast-growing startup tackling one of today’s most pressing issues: data privacy. We’re hiring a part-time Full Cycle Recruiter for a 3-month contract to lead hiring efforts across both technical and GTM teams at a mission-driven, high-growth startup.This contract position (20 hours/week) offers flexibility and potential to scale to 40 hours/week. You’ll work directly with founders and hiring managers to source top talent, drive hiring processes, and build strong candidate experiences.What You’ll DoManage full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and SalesActively source candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms to maintain a strong pipelineConduct resume reviews and phone screens to assess qualifications and team fitCoordinate interviews across time zones and ensure a smooth candidate experiencePartner with hiring managers to define role needs, candidate profiles, and hiring strategyMaintain and organize candidate data in ATS (e.g., Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse) and Google SheetsTrack and report recruiting metrics regularly to evaluate process effectiveness and support decision-makingOptimize recruiting workflows and recommend process improvementsDraft and post job descriptions that reflect our team and cultureWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in startup or high-growth environmentsStrong background hiring for both technical and GTM rolesExperience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar toolsProficient in ATS platforms and G SuiteComfortable working independently in a remote, part-time capacity during U.S. business hoursClear communicator, highly organized, and proactiveBonus Points ForExperience working at or recruiting for an early-stage startupExperience hiring in a cybersecurity company Familiarity with candidate identity verification or fraud prevention best practicesWhy Work With Us Competitive hourly rate ($40–$70/hr based on experience) Flexible, remote schedule (20 hrs/week, with room to scale to 40 hours/week) Collaborate directly with founders and hiring managers ️ Make a meaningful impact by shaping our team and hiring foundation❤️ Supportive, mission-driven team with a low-ego, high-impact cultureLocationOptery is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but operates as a fully-remote global team.
