Our stores are always bustling with energy, and our employees are the driving force behind our success. **Job Summary** As a Retail Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. You'll work closely with our District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management to prevent potential loss and dishonesty, while also providing exceptional customer service and supporting our store teams. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty * Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure preparedness in critical situations * Wear a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to enhance store security and customer safety * Greet customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio * Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management, ensuring the safety of customers and employees * Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a secure and safe environment * Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, including documentation of required incidents in AIIM Case Management * Perform other duties as assigned by management, including supporting store teams and loss prevention initiatives **Essential Qualifications** * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management * Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise judgment in critical situations * Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence * Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals * Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong physical presence and ability to move quickly and safely in the store * 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a loss prevention or security role, with a strong understanding of asset protection and safety protocols * Knowledge of AIIM Case Management and other loss prevention software systems * Certification in loss prevention or a related field, such as the Certified Loss Prevention Professional (CLPP) designation * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues **Benefits and Compensation** * Competitive starting pay range of $16.00 to $18.25 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and career growth * Comprehensive benefits package, including associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) associate contributions, child care & cell phone discounts, pet & legal insurance, credit union, referral bonuses, and more * Opportunities for professional development and training, including loss prevention certification and other relevant courses * A dynamic and supportive work environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration * A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we're passionate about creating a unique and exciting shopping experience for our customers.
