SafetyChain Software is looking for a Director, FP&A to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will transform the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function into a best-in-class operation.

What You'll Do:

Lead the transformation of the FP&A function, setting policies, implementing systems, and fostering excellence in reporting. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and optimizing financial processes. The Director, FP&A will directly contribute to the company's performance metrics by improving efficiency and accuracy in financial data to support informed decision-making. Specific projects may include defining and implementing corporate and department KPIs, implementing new accounting software, developing and enforcing accounting policies, and leading process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the long-term financial planning process, including multi-year forecasts
• Run the annual budgeting process, including ongoing adherence to budgets to actuals
• Oversee preparation of monthly and quarterly Board of Directors reports
• Collaborate with the CFO and the Executive Leadership Team in company and departmental strategic planning and goals
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices across the FP&A function
• Build a shared services FP&A function and team, assisting other Executives and Departments in solving complex issues

What You’ll Need (Requirements)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Strong proficiency with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Power BI).
• Experience identifying and implementing best-in-class systems
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a track record of turning data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and business models (preferred but not required).
