Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative with Arsenault, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Interacting with Beneficiaries and Providers : Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information via phone, email, and other communication channels. Creating, Formatting, and Proofreading Letters : Prepare and review correspondence, including letters, reports, and other documents. Managing Timeliness and Productivity : Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet productivity and timeliness standards. Making Complex Decisions : Analyze complex appeals and make informed decisions, using sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Building Relationships : Foster effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including beneficiaries, providers, and other stakeholders. Utilizing Internal Quality Control Tools : Assess individual work and team processes, using quality control tools and metrics to drive improvement. Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Representative with Arsenault, you will need: Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent : A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with post-high school business courses or medical terminology training preferred. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills : Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication, with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Customer-Focused and Results-Oriented : A customer-focused and results-oriented approach, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. General Knowledge of PC-Based Computer Systems : Familiarity with PC-based computer systems, including software applications and hardware. Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize Assignments : Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Preferred Qualifications Prior Experience in Customer Service or Healthcare : Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field is preferred. Medical Terminology Training : Medical terminology training or certification is preferred. Data Entry or Clerical Experience : Previous data entry or clerical experience is a plus. What You'll Do As a Customer Service Representative with Arsenault, you will be responsible for: Typing/Merging, Proofing, and Mailing Correspondence : Prepare and review correspondence, including letters, reports, and other documents. Communicating with External Customers : Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information via phone, email, and other communication channels. Fostering Effective Working Relationships : Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, including beneficiaries, providers, and other stakeholders. Assisting with Review Team Activities : Participate in Review Team activities, including identifying areas for potential improvement and providing input on process improvements. Answering the Beneficiary Helpline : Respond to calls from beneficiaries, providing information and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
