Consultant - Government Proposal Technical Writer

They are seeking a Consultant - Government Proposal Technical Writer to provide program management services, develop technical solutions, and support proposal submissions for government solicitations.ResponsibilitiesWriting and developing technical solutions in response to government solicitationsFacilitating government solicitation response submissions and supporting end-to-end proposal development activitiesProviding programmatic support and working closely with the LBG Program Manager to manage the successful planning and delivery of their government and commercial programsManaging and developing non-government organizations (NGOs) and government solicitation responses primarilyDeveloping proposal plans, compliance matrices and tracking tools to enable successful proposal submissionsDeveloping and maintaining core program artifacts, including integrated Gantt charts, statements of work (SOWs), work breakdown structures (WBS) to support complex, multi-year programsLeading and assisting in the management of day-to-day project activities, including organizing and participating in regular meetings, documenting meeting minutes, tracking action items, and supporting required contractual reporting to both internal and external stakeholdersSupporting coordination with subcontractors, CDMOs, academic partners, and clinical organizations, including scope development, task tracking, and integration of partner inputs into proposals and program plansAssisting in the technical review of new life science productsAssisting in the tracking of project specific budgetsSupporting client proposal development activities as requiredLeading/supporting market research activities as requiredTraveling to client sites as requiredAdhering to LBG quality standards with regard to client deliverablesOther duties as assignedSupporting the identification and selling of commercial, government, and non-profit funded engagements for CompanySupporting the drafting and editing of proposals and engagement documentsSupporting the drafting of publications, white papers, and marketing materialsSupporting the management of existing and potential client relationshipsSupporting the planning, tracking and follow-up on sales and marketing activities in pursuit of engagement opportunitiesSupport the creation of internal tools, systems, methods and materials that help the Company perform more efficiently and with higher quality resultsSupport the creation and delivery of publications and presentations that support and build on the Company’s reputation and recognition in its target marketsSupport the management and overhead activities of the Company as agreed on an annual basis with company management.
