Position: Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote) Location: Lusby Employer Industry: Commercial Insurance Why consider this job opportunity • Total compensation package including performance bonus and 401(k) with company match • Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization • Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S. • Supportive and inclusive company culture focused on community and innovation • Chance to contribute to a mission‑driven organization committed to positive change What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) • Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity • Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns • Assist with first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue • Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work regarding claims • Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with involved parties What is Required (Qualifications) • 2+ years of casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of commercial claims experience • High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry • Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment • Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • 3+ years of casualty claims handling experience • Prior experience with commercial policies • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area • Flexibility to work any shift during the operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone • Capability to complete training and perform the job in a remote setting We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
