Key Responsibilities Design and Build Scalable Systems: Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the needs of our business. Technical Leadership: Leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution and engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle. Code Reviews and Mentorship: Lead code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization and mentor other engineers. Reusable Components: Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective. Azure Tools and Services: Utilize developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle. Problem-Solving: Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities. Essential Qualifications Technical Skills Programming Experience: Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C# including object-oriented design. Web Service Integration: Strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot). Cloud Architecture: Advanced understanding of DevOps Concepts and Cloud Architecture. Databases: Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle. Soft Skills Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and interact with clients and sponsors. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Collaboration: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills Front-end Technologies: Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flutter, and React. Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce standard objects/records, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationships. Event-Based Frameworks: Experience with enterprise integrations utilizing Event-Based Frameworks. Experience Professional Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience with at least two modern languages. Cloud Experience: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service. Open-Source Frameworks: 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
