Zero Trust Architecture Engineer

Job Description:
• Design and implement Zero Trust security architecture to enhance our software products
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures based on Zero Trust principles
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps and security teams to integrate Zero Trust controls across all systems and applications
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security risks
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and least privilege access
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents
• Develop and maintain documentation for Zero Trust architecture policies and procedures
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and code implementations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Participate in security audits and compliance efforts to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices in Zero Trust security

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Security Engineer, Network Security Engineer, cybersecurity, or similar role
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and CISA’s EINSTEIN framework
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions
• Proficiency in network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security automation and orchestration tools
• Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust Strategy
• Knowledge of network principles, such as ZTA, SASE, SD-WAN
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities and project needs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
