WordPress Developer (Short-Term Contract)

Job Summary
We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, etc). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is required. An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is strongly preferred.
Please note this is a short-term contract with an estimated timeframe of 2-3 months. This role is restricted to US based candidates only.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 3 years of development experience with Wordpress, PHP, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQueryMust possess react experienceExperience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsExperience developing responsive websitesComfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsersAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pagesKnowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)Strong understanding of PHP back-end developmentStrong understanding of SEO best practicesAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to meet deadlines and be flexible to changing priorities; ability to efficiently manage time based on business priorities
