We are currently seeking a dedicated Remote Special Education Teacher to join our team on a contract basis.
Position Overview: As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs in a virtual setting. This role is perfect for educators who are passionate about making a difference and thrive in flexible, online environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student IEPs.
Provide direct instruction and support to students in a virtual classroom.
Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure effective communication and support.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance with regulations.
Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Valid Kentucky Special Education Teaching License.
Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a remote setting.
Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive online learning environment.
