Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Online Tutor to join our team, providing one-on-one and small group tutoring to students in Grades 3-12. As an Online Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students in various subjects, including English, mathematics, science, social studies, French, and Spanish. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 synchronous tutoring through chat, text, and audio communication across multiple grade levels and subject areas Coach and provide content support to students across company platforms Develop, prepare, and deliver synchronous instruction to students needing targeted interventions Use resources and instructional best practices to provide effective instruction Self-manage based on team metrics and participate in continuous professional growth activities Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional best practices Attend and participate in professional development sessions Communicate professionally with all stakeholders, including students, colleagues, and customers, using text, audio, and video technologies Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with at least 1 year of tutoring experience directly related to duties Active teaching certification preferred Bilingual fluency preferred for French/Spanish positions Proficiency in two or more subject areas, including Social Studies, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Spanish, or French Demonstrated growth mindset and prior experience in a blended or online environment preferred Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to develop creative solutions Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed, and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in education or a related field Specialized training or certification in online tutoring or education technology Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities Proficiency in multiple subject areas and ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Imagine Learning, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $18.14 to $21.78 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
