Our instructors will use Mathnasium designed curriculum to instruct in a 4:1 setting and also provide 1:1 when required. There are no homework assignments for students and no lessons for the instructors to prepare. You will be trained to use the Mathnasium curriculum and provide personalized mathematics instruction in various content areas such as Early Childhood, Elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and ACT/SAT prep. Continual training in the Mathnasium method is a mandatory term of employment. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team.
Job Requirements:
-Excellent math skills through Algebra and Geometry (knowledge of Trig and Calculus is a plus)
-All candidates must pass our subject matter test
-Enthusiastic, empathetic, and patient while working with a variety of children
-Ability to multi-task and interact professionally with students and parents
-Strong communication skills
-Flexibility to work at both West DePaul (1444 W Fullerton) and Ravenswood (1754 W Wilson) locations is strongly preferred
