Unarmed Security Guard for Store (PT and FT)
About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team at Strategic Security Corp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. This position is available for both part-time and full-time roles, offering a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour. The working hours for this position are structured as follows: Sunday to Thursday from 0600 to 1445, Tuesday to Saturday from 1445 to 2330, and Friday to Saturday from 0600 to 1445, with additional shifts on Sunday and Monday from 1445 to 2330. The role requires a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the premises, which includes regular patrols and monitoring of the property.
Responsibilities
? Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
,
? Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
,
? Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
,
? Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
,
? Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
,
? Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
,
? Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
Requirements
? Certificate in security training is preferred
,
? Experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is a plus
,
? Familiarity with CCTV systems
,
? Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
,
? Strong conflict management skills
,
? Ability to conduct surveillance effectively
