Test Automation Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Test Automation Engineer with Security Clearance PBG delivers mission-focused solutions that eliminate inefficiency and power transformation for federal agencies requiring agility, security, and impact. Role: Test Automation Engineer Contract: Contingent Upon Award - U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). work performed in the U.S.; (Occasional travel to DOT HQ - Washington, DC, Navy Yard) Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust (existing transferable Public Trust preferred) Overview: PBG is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for a Salesforce grants management system supporting DOT. Responsibilities: • Develop automated regression suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Provar, Katalon, or equivalent frameworks. • Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end workflows. • Develop reusable test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to support scalable test automation. • Validate Salesforce Flows, Apex logic, integrations, and user interface components through automated testing. • Maintain test datasets, test scripts, and test environment configuration records. • Execute API testing using tools like Postman, Ready API, or custom scripts. • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins). • Log, track, and retest defects; collaborate with developers to ensure resolution aligns with acceptance criteria. • Analyze results, track quality metrics, and prepare test execution reports for stakeholders. • Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, and definition of done (DoD) discussions. Required Qualifications: • BA/BS degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field. • 3+ years of automated testing experience. • Experience with automation frameworks and API testing. • Ability to obtain Public Trust (transferable clearance preferred). #WHYPBG We have successfully built a company culture based on our single most important asset - our employees.
