Student Support Lab Coordinator -- Remote | WFH

Remote Full-time
This role serves students who have been referred to either the Academic or Behavioral Student Support Team and reports to the Director of Student Support.
Responsibilities...
Organizing Student Lab:
Collaborate with mentors to identify students who would benefit from additional support.
Reach out to parents and selected students to invite them to attend the Student Support Lab.
Monitor student attendance and engagement within the lab.
Provide assistance to the student support team as required.
Supervise and delegate tasks to staff responsible for overseeing student support in the lab.
Assisting With Tier 2 Response To Intervention
Assist mentors in implementing appropriate evidence-based interventions with identified students.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding student needs and progress.
Share student progress or challenges with mentors.
Monitor and document student progress, tracking relevant data.
Offer data insights to support Special Education referrals when necessary.
Attend scheduled training sessions for intervention programs and ensure proficient implementation.
Providing Academic Coaching And Instruction
Work directly with students to complete assignments as needed.
Support students in developing effective time management and study skills.
Conduct lab sessions to aid students in completing and comprehending classwork.
Participating In Special Education L10 Meetings
Report student attendance and data numbers on a weekly Scorecard.
Establish quarterly professional development goals.
Ensure timely responses to emails within 24 hours and completion of all assigned tasks via Asana.
Coordinating And Reporting Results To Stakeholders
Document and communicate weekly with students, parents, mentors, and supervisors regarding student responses to intervention.
Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in tutoring, teaching, or working as a teacher's assistant, or equivalent experience; OR an Associate's degree and one year of related experience.
Demonstrated work experience with educational staff, students, and their families.
Proven integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
Advocacy skills and the ability to collaborate with other staff members to achieve the school's overall vision.
Ability to effectively respond to the needs of diverse students and families.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to adapt and learn various state systems, programs, and processes.
