Odoo Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Consultant to lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of our Odoo environment, with a focus on POS, large-scale inventory management, e-commerce integrations, and marketplace connectivity . Key Responsibilities Configure and customize Odoo Point of Sale (POS) , including integration with payment terminals. Set up and manage inventory for millions of SKUs , including product hierarchies, attributes, and cross-referencing for alternative or compatible parts. Implement advanced product search functionality to handle part numbers, OEM references, and alternates. Integrate shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, etc.) directly into Odoo. Connect Odoo with our website and e-commerce platforms for real-time product sync. Manage marketplace integrations such as eBay and Amazon for seamless order flow. Ensure high-performance hosting for large databases and product catalogs. Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for internal teams. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Proven experience with Odoo setup, customization, and module development . Strong background in POS implementation and payment terminal integrations. Expertise in inventory and warehouse management at scale (millions of SKUs). Familiarity with auto parts catalogs and cross-referencing systems is a major plus. Hands-on experience with shipping API integrations . Knowledge of website and marketplace connectors (eBay, Amazon, Shopify, etc.). Solid understanding of database optimization and hosting for large data sets. Ability to translate business workflows into Odoo processes. Strong communication and training skills. Nice to Have Previous experience with auto parts or aftermarket industries . Familiarity with Odoo.sh, Docker, or cloud deployments . Knowledge of SEO, e-commerce user experience, and multi-channel selling .
