Sr. Program Manager - Merchandising - Seattle, WA

We are looking for a non-technical Senior Program Manager who is energized by driving results through clear, impactful communications and high‑quality process materials. As part of the Nordstrom Merchandising Group (NMG) Process, Program & Deployment team, you will work cross-functionally to support implementation of business process improvements and deploy new and improved tools and systems that support Nordstrom’s growth ambition. A day in the life... • Craft tactical communications tailored to business and technical teams • Transform stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable materials that drive understanding and alignment • Design leader enablement resources such as conversation guides, FAQs, and response frameworks to navigate difficult questions • Stay connected with frontline teams through regular check-ins, gather real‑world insights and proactively surface program risks before they impact business outcomes • Measure communication impact using engagement metrics and adoption trends to make agile, evidence‑based adjustments • Leverage merchant expertise while championing transformation, communicating with transparency and empathy to build trust and momentum • Inspire inclusive leadership, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering collaboration across the organization You own this if you have: • 5+ years in change management communications, internal communications or organizational transformation roles • 2+ in retail, merchandising or similar operational environment (understands business context and merchant mindset • Demonstrated experience managing communications for technology implementations or process transformations • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment • Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives, present to diverse audiences, and influence at all organizational levels Location: This is a hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to work onsite four (4) days per week and be located within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in Seattle, WA We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits.
