Job Summary
As a Sr. Logistics Analyst - Last Mile Delivery Optimization, you will be responsible for supporting the Last Mile delivery strategy and optimizing our logistics operations. Your primary goal will be to analyze complex data sets and develop innovative solutions to optimize our delivery network, reduce costs, and improve guest satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and transportation, to drive business outcomes and achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in our Last Mile delivery operations
Develop and maintain complex models and algorithms to optimize delivery routes, schedules, and capacity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our Last Mile delivery operations
Partner with transportation providers and logistics partners to optimize delivery networks and reduce costs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, operations research)
2+ years of experience in data analysis, logistics, or a related field
Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience working with large data sets and complex data systems (e.g., Hadoop, Hive)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in distribution or transportation
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
