Position Summary: Assist with evaluating, analyzing and preparing recommendations to help invest, manage and spend company funds.
Position Responsibilities
? Assist with management of all budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
? Work alongside senior leadership to prepare, distribute and review financial results on a monthly basis
? Assist with developing financial plans for major capital investment projects to determine viability and return on investment
? Conduct financial analysis in order to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast
? Review and track progress against the overall business plan, provide explanation of results and assist in identifying action plans for course correction if necessary
? Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to senior level management and all business directors and managers on campus
? Assist with strategic planning process and creation of management presentations to senior executive leadership on a quarterly basis
? Assess and seek out on-going financial risks and opportunities to the business
? Review key performance indicators and budget vs. actual variances on a daily basis
? Provide recommendations through statistical analysis that will create greater efficiencies or business improvement
? Create new and update existing automated financial reports for the department(s)
? Responsible for the coordination, communication and tracking of key deliverables during all finance events
? Assist in a range of projects across multiple departments as overseen by the CFO
? Heavy emphasis on financial modeling for new start-up businesses and existing departments in the organization
? Extremely detail oriented and must be able to work and communicate effectively across all departments
? Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
? Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
? 3+ years direct relevant work experience in finance, strategic planning, financial analysis and financial modeling
? Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, investment and profitability analysis
? Ability to deliver accurate results while working under time sensitive conditions
? Capable of managing competing priorities while working across multiple departments
? Self-motivated and comfortable working in fast paced and dynamic environment
? Strong attention to detail
? Effective verbal and written communication skills
? Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
? Ability to work extended and flexible hours during peak seasons
Preferred Skills
? Experience using NetSuite and Vena software
? Knowledgeable of accounting and GAAP
? Interest in sports
