Software Engineer, Consumer Product Security Engineering

Develop and implement secure software solutions to protect user privacy and security on Netflix's consumer products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement solutions to mitigate them. Conduct regular security assessments and audits on consumer products to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and proactively make recommendations for improvements to our products. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the security of code being deployed. Work closely with product managers and designers to understand and prioritize security requirements. Develop and maintain documentation related to security protocols and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve any security-related issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner. Mentor and support junior engineers on the team in developing secure coding practices. Collaborate with external vendors and security researchers to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities. Communicate security updates and changes to relevant stakeholders within the organization. Participate in on-call rotations to quickly respond to and address any security incidents. Proactively identify and address any potential risks to the security of our products. Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures.
