Key Responsibilities
Review tax returns and assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and technical issues.
Manage, supervise, and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants, guiding them through technical challenges and promoting professional development.
Complete annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing employee performance.
Collaborate with partners to identify and pursue new clients, driving business growth and expansion.
Promote the firm's growth and well-being through recruiting, publishing, and training initiatives.
Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and enhance knowledge and skills through training and continuous learning.
Take on additional duties and assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the firm's success.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A valid CPA license.
Several years of tax experience, including recent experience at the manager level.
Full-time availability and a strong work ethic.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to set and work towards goals, objectives, and deadlines.
