About the Role The Claims Customer Contact Representative role at blithequark is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. As a Claims Customer Contact Representative, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls related to life and annuity claims, providing accurate information, and resolving customer inquiries promptly while adhering to privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities Professionally handle incoming calls and ensure inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly, providing exceptional customer service and support to various stakeholders, including financial advisors and claimants. Manage a large volume of inbound calls in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload efficiently to meet performance metrics and quality standards. Efficiently research and document call reasons and resolutions, focusing on privacy regulations and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions. Handle inquiries in the best interest of the customer and the company, demonstrating a customer-centric approach and a deep understanding of blithequark's products and services. Provide quality service and support to various areas, including Financial Advisors, Claimants, and Exchange Companies, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication. Follow documented procedures and guidelines when providing service to blithequark customers, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development. 1+ year of experience in customer service or call center experience, preferably in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues. Nice-to-Haves While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: A basic understanding of blithequark's structure and product/service offerings, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to our company's unique needs and challenges. Ability to handle customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, showcasing excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Awareness of workloads and willingness to assist team members, demonstrating a collaborative and team-oriented approach to work. A basic understanding of digital techniques and tools used at blithequark, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
