Senior Java Developer
HBASE Developer We are thrilled to announce a new opportunity to join our team as we continue to push the boundaries of the big data. As a HBASE Developer, you'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects with a team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about using technology to drive business success. HBase is a non-relational database management system for real-time data processing that runs on top of the Hadoop distributed file system. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to work with our team on the design and implementation of HBASE over Huawei’s public cloud to improve performance and/or develop new features on top of customer needs.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve technical problems based on project. • Analyze and backporting issues on Apache open source repository which improve our version. • Identify, design and implement internal process improvements • Design and report technical analysis based on requirements. • Developing technical features and testing. • Increasing Unit Test coverage based on features. • Code reviews and Feedback
• Support and collaborate teammates.RequirementsExperience & Skills Required:Minimum bachelor’s degree (preferably in a computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering or equivalent • Have minimum 4 years of experience in professional • Have minimum 4 years of experience in Java and Spring Framework. • Be familiar with open source big data components (Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Flink, and Hive) technology. • Strong understanding on Hadoop components and distributed file systems such as Hdfs • Experience on performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement • Experience on Unit Test such as Junit, Groovy etc. • Experience on working in Unix/Linux Environments. • Experience on team work and continuous development/integration on systems such as Git version control system, including branching and merging strategies. • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and presentation skills. • Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must. • Passion for sharing what you've learnt and confidence to ask others for help.
