You can deliver independently on ambiguous and large-scale problems. You will leverage your causal inference, statistical, and machine learning knowledge to address specific business problems. You will retrieve, understand, analyze, and present critical data and insights and communicate (verbal and written) to your partner engineers, scientists, product managers, and leadership to identify business opportunities, support decision making, and drive product innovations.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- PhD in economics or equivalent
- Experience in building analytic or scientific data products or solutions
- Experience in econometrics (e.g., program evaluation, forecasting, time series, panel data, or high dimensional problems), economic theory, and quantitative methods
- Experience in building statistical models using R, Python, STATA, or a related softwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems
- Experience in industry, consulting, government or academic research
