Senior Director of Accounting
Job Description:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all core accounting functions
• Own the global close and consolidation process
• Lead all external financial reporting
• Oversee stock administration and equity accounting
• Establish and improve internal controls and accounting policies
• Drive systems and process improvements across accounting and payroll
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders for budgeting and forecasting
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
• Manage relationships with external auditors
Requirements:
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP
• Proven experience overseeing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable
• Strong understanding of equity and stock-based compensation accounting
• CPA required
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries preferred
