You’ll work exclusively on the backend—no frontend, just complex systems, high reliability, and real scalability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomous environments, has bold technical instincts, and enjoys owning end-to-end solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain backend infrastructure using AWS services, with a focus on serverless architectureImplement reliable and scalable systems to support high-volume traffic and mission-critical servicesOwn backend features and projects from concept through deployment and monitoringCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into robust backend solutionsContribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices are followedMaintain infrastructure-as-code using modern IaC tools and deploy consistently via CI/CD pipelines Some Must-Haves:6+ years of backend development experience, including large-scale production systemsDeep hands-on expertise with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, S3, IAM, etc.)Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven architectureProficient in a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Go)Familiarity with AWS Connect and/or AWS AI/ML services is a strong plusStrong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and own technical outcomesComfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with minimal supervisionWhere We're Looking For It:Latin AmericaOpen to 100% Fully RemoteOther InformationThe work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
