[Remote] Junior IT Configuration Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marathon TS is seeking an IT Configuration Analyst to support the CASTLE-NET program. This role is responsible for maintaining and managing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records, supporting ITIL-based configuration management processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of IT asset and configuration information across the enterprise environment.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update Configuration Management Database (CMDB) recordsIdentify, document, and manage Configuration Items (CIs)Track relationships between hardware, software, applications, and infrastructure componentsSupport configuration audits and data quality initiativesEnsure compliance with established configuration management policies and proceduresAssist with Change Management activities and configuration impact analysisGenerate reports and metrics related to CMDB accuracy and configuration complianceWork with ITSM teams to improve configuration management processesDevelop and maintain configuration management documentationParticipate in continuous process improvement initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience4+ years of Configuration Management, IT Asset Management, CMDB Administration, or related ITSM experienceExperience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platformsWorking knowledge of ITIL framework and best practicesStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in enterprise IT environmentsActive Secret ClearanceSecurity+ CertificationITIL Foundation CertificationFederal Government or DoD experienceServiceNow CMDB administration experienceExperience supporting large-scale IT operations environmentsCompany OverviewMarathon TS provides a full range of consulting & manpower services for clients that needs support from skilled and experienced individuals.
