School Counselor - Full-Time - 100% Remote - ME License Required
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a Counselor to provide virtual services for school students in Maine grades K-12. This position is for the current school year.
Licensed Counselor Salary: $45 to $50 per hour
Licensed Counselor Qualifications:
ā¢ Must have counseling certification in Maine
ā¢ Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
ā¢ Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Counselor or Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
ā¢ Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
ā¢ Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
ā¢ Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
ā¢ Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
