SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead / Senior Consultant Duration: 6 months+ Location: Remote, with 1week/month onsite in CO Project Phase & Timeline The project just completed the Realize phase, in November, with a targeted go-live date of April 1st. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead / Senior Consultant to support a full-cycle implementation during the Realize phase and through go-live. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise across SAP Finance modules, hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience, and a strong understanding of finance best practices to drive standardization, efficiency, and successful system adoption. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support the activities, including configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment readiness. • Serve as the functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices. • Configure, validate, and support end-to-end financial processes within SAP S/4HANA. • Drive process optimization and standardization to improve financial operations and reporting. • Collaborate closely with technical teams, integration partners, and business stakeholders. • Support integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live preparation. • Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal teams. • Ensure strict adherence to the SAP Fiori-only user experience, leveraging the latest Fiori apps and managed applications. Required Functional Expertise • SAP S/4HANA Finance, including: • FI - Asset Accounting (AA) • Accounts Payable (AP) • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Banking and ACH processing • Treasury • Asset Management • Hands-on implementation experience with the latest version of SAP S/4HANA. • Proven expertise in financial process best practices and SAP-delivered standards. • Strong experience in configuring and deploying finance solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance. • Experience implementing the Asset Management module within SAP Apply tot his job
