Visit our website at www.axnygroup.com Position Summary The Sales Planning Analyst will support the sales, operations and finance team by assisting with sales forecasting, performance tracking, and the identification of customer deductions. The Analyst will also provide essential support in order management and maintenance, collaborate with Operations to confirm inventory availability, and assist in generating customer reports and managing data entry tasks as needed. Location: Remote Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional activity. Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Partner with operations to manage inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory while meeting customer demand. Communicate potential risks and opportunities to forecasts through weekly and monthly meetings. Communicate shipping estimates on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Work with the shipping department to manage order ship windows ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to address order discrepancies and/or adjustment needs. Generate customer selling reports to provide insights into performance and inventory holdings. Work with sales and finance teams outlining future deductions to be taken by customers Maintain detailed worksheet of forecasted and confirmed deductions Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred Knowledge of retail financial metrics and ability to analyze data Experience in various retailer platforms is a plus Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint, 365 OneDrive Excellent oral/written communication skills, including interpersonal communication as an integral part of the overall team Excellent customer relationship skills Work Environment This position is a regular full-time position in an office and/or home office environment. Working overtime may be required to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position. Occasional travel by plane and/or car may be required. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
