Sales Development Representative

Our fully remote team has grown rapidly and we're looking to expand our team with top talent from around the world.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a hungry, independent, and coachable salesperson who loves a challenge to help us grow our business in our current channel- micro markets- with a primary focus on new clients and a secondary focus on growing business with existing clients. You will be selling our theft detection software and smart cameras through significant outbound outreach and relationship-building. The position will start as contract-to-hire in a trial period to ensure it is a fit on both sides. This trial period can be full time or part-time depending on your needs.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesYou will help with the continued growth and direction of the companyYou will learn the inner workings of a small startup growing quickly and will receive a first-rate education in company-building in case you'd like to build your own company somedayYou will receive sales training from the Sales Director who has been selling professionally for 7+ years and will pass on the professional sales training curriculum he has received from expertsYou will be challenged every day, and you will grow a lot as a result of thatThere are tremendous growth opportunities with Panoptyc and if you flourish, you will be on an executive track to management and leadershipIncrease top-line revenue and unit deploymentEducate yourself on Panoptyc's products and servicesCall on dormant and warm leads in Panoptyc's existing channel of micro marketsLearn, practice, and master the Panoptyc sales methodology through training from the Sales DirectorCall on new markets for our technologyConduct and effectively manage business development activities including but not limited to cold calling, warm calling, follow-ups, cold emailing/social media outreach, holding webinars, attending conferences and events and making in-person customer visits, social media posts, and creating monthly newsletter email to customers and prospective customersTracking outreach effectiveness and sales metrics and iterating your approach to maximize your effectivenessMaintain CRMBuild and maintain lead lists for the micro market industryShare customer feedback on technology and areas for improvementBuild sales process documentationPutting prospective customers and expansion opportunities into tiers and tailoring outreach to the opportunity size and tierEducation and Experience RequirementsExperience is less important than having the right qualities like these:Hard-working, independent, competitive, fearless, coachable, ambitious, efficient, persevering, contrarian, loves learning, empathetic, curious, high-integrity, acts with a sense of urgency, responsive and follows up, assertive, entrepreneurial, good listenerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIdeally, you have sales experience but it's not a prerequisite for successJob DetailsFull-time status (40 hours per week)Able to work during US Eastern time zoneReady to join a high-impact team and revolutionize retail security?Let's protect retail together!
