Key Responsibilities: Perform fundamental accounting functions, including reviewing accounting data, processing refund claims, and updating journal vouchers with high accuracy and attention to detail. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including communication with external contacts as necessary to ensure seamless resolution. Complete data entry of accounting information with high accuracy and attention to detail, utilizing arenaflex's financial systems and software. Modify and review daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures. Distribute and store month-end closing statistics reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making. Perform various tasks and ad-hoc activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to support the department's/organization's achievement of goals and business objectives. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or GED equivalency; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is preferred. Aircraft/travel industry accounting experience is an asset, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to arenaflex's financial systems and software. Knowledge of general accounting principles and systems, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and regulations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision, prioritizing deadlines and meeting expectations. Intelligent and analytical ability to reason and problem-solve, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
