Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
Follow strict style guides to produce verbatim transcripts
Collaborate remotely with our in-office team for any necessary guidance
Ensure timely delivery of transcripts while maintaining high standards of quality
Required Skills
Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping
Exceptional listening skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong literacy skills including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy
Familiarity with legal terminology
Ability to handle challenging audio/text content
Capability to work independently and manage deadlines
Qualifications
Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is required
Court reporting students may also be considered
Ability to pass a background check is essential
