In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites and web applications, collaborating closely with design and product teams to deliver outstanding digital experiences.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirementsBuild and maintain websites using page builder tools including Elementor, Divi Builder, and Visual ComposerWrite clean, well-structured PHP code and maintain MySQL databasesOptimize websites for speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals complianceDebug and troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues with strong analytical thinkingPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standardsCollaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, cross-browser-compatible interfacesMaintain website security, perform updates, and handle backupsIntegrate third-party APIs, tools, and services as neededUnderstanding of SEO best practices and structured data markupSkills3–4 years of professional WordPress development experienceProficiency with Elementor, Divi Builder, and Visual Composer / WPBakeryStrong understanding of the WordPress theme and plugin ecosystemExperience building and customizing custom themes from scratchAbility to develop custom plugins for extended functionalityStrong proficiency in PHP (OOP and procedural) for WordPress developmentSolid experience with MySQL — schema design, query optimization, and managementProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQueryFamiliarity with REST APIs and JSON data structuresHands-on experience optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS)Knowledge of caching strategies, CDN configuration, and image optimizationExperience with tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or LighthouseStrong problem-solving and debugging skills across the full stackAbility to diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutionsExperience with browser developer tools and error logging systemsExperience with Laravel or CodeIgniter PHP frameworksFamiliarity with HubSpot CMS development and templatesKnowledge of version control systems, especially GitExperience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platformsCompany OverviewPartnerOne acquires and grows enterprise software companies for the long term.
