[Remote] Vice President of Finance

This role involves building scalable financial systems and ensuring financial discipline as the company continues to grow.ResponsibilitiesAct as the strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board, providing insight into business performance, capital efficiency, and long-term financial planningOwn and evolve FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial planning to support growth and decision-makingLead and oversee accounting operations, working closely with an outsourced accounting firm to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with GAAPBuild scalable financial processes, controls, and systems to support a growing B2B2C fintech businessPrepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board, with a focus on transparency and predictabilityPartner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams to align financial planning with company prioritiesSupport go-to-market efforts through pricing analysis, renewals, revenue forecasting, and unit economicsManage tax, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with external partnersContribute to capital planning, investor communications, and future fundraising preparation as neededIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and financial rigor as the company scalesHelp define the roadmap for building an internal finance team over time, while remaining deeply involved in executionSkills10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled businessesProven experience building and operating finance functions in Series A+ or growth-stage startupsStrong background in FP&A, accounting oversight, and financial operations, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and executionDeep understanding of GAAP, audits, internal controls, and compliance requirementsExperience partnering closely with CEOs, COOs, and Boards, with comfort operating under close executive oversightDemonstrated ability to operate independently and take full ownership in environments with limited structureFamiliarity with global financial operations, including contractors and multi-currency considerationsHands-on experience with tools such as QuickBooks, Brex, Ramp, Carta, and HubSpot (or similar)Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insightsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field requiredExperience in the benefits and wellness industry is heavily preferredMBA, CPA, or equivalent credentials are a plusBenefitsRemote-first company structureMedical, dental, and vision401(k)Mental wellbeing (Talkspace)Financial wellbeing (LearnLux)Equity (Full-time employees)Paid vacation and sick leavePaid sabbatical after 5 years of serviceA supportive, inclusive team cultureOpportunities for continuous learning and growth at a fast-growing startup at the cutting edge intersection of financial wellness and technologyCompany OverviewLearnLux is the leading provider of workplace financial wellbeing that blends fiduciary digital planning with access to one-on-one guidance from Certified Financial Planner® professionals.
