Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid teaching certification (General Education or ESL preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a closely related field
• Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language or General Education in a school setting
• Strong understanding of cultural diversity and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Comfort working with a diverse student population in various grade levels
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Adapt curriculum content and assessments to support English Language Learners
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom where students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to support language acquisition and content understanding
• Track student progress and provide feedback to families and staff
• Collaborate with general education teachers to coordinate instructional support and accommodations
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
