[Remote] Veterinary Recruiter
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Western Veterinary Partners (WVP) is a people-centric veterinary support organization focused on acquiring and supporting veterinary practices across the United States. They are seeking a Veterinary Recruiter to cultivate relationships with veterinarians, manage recruitment processes, and enhance the company's brand within the veterinary community.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of veterinary candidates, keeping detailed record of interactions and progress to ensure smooth onboarding experience
ā¢ Source and engage veterinarians to join WVP practices utilizing various channels, including networking, job boards, social media, and industry events to attract top veterinary talent
ā¢ Ensure workflows and processes related to veterinary recruitment are documented and managed within the applicant tracking system and various reporting tools
ā¢ Stay up to date on trends within the veterinary industry and within the veterinary job market
ā¢ Partner with relevant cross-functional teams to strengthen brand presence within the veterinary community
ā¢ Travel to assist with DVM candidate practice visits when needed
ā¢ Support and implement employee engagement activities (welcoming new team members, tracking promotions/employee referrals, and acknowledging work anniversaries)
ā¢ Oversee new hire onboarding for DVM positions including drafting offer letters, new hire paperwork, and being the point of contact
ā¢ Provide leadership and advice to hiring managers and interview teams
Skills
ā¢ Must have Veterinary Recruiting Experience
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar
ā¢ 5+ years of Recruiting experience with a longer-cycle relationship focused candidate pool
ā¢ Effective, clear, and persuasive oral and written communication skills
ā¢ Talent and experience with negotiations and networking
ā¢ Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, accurate, thorough; ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the company
ā¢ Demonstrates a 'whatever it takes' attitude; must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
ā¢ Self-directed, highly organized and can easily navigate ambiguity and create order
ā¢ Experience with a multi-state, multi-entity, private equity, growth organization strongly preferred
